Connect your Facebook Page and Instagram account, and the AI answers their DMs from the same knowledge as your website chat. DMs land in your inbox with a 
Messenger or 
Instagram label.
Messenger and Instagram are in beta. Only owners and admins can connect them.
Messenger

Connect Facebook
Go to Settings > Messenger and click Connect. Log in to Facebook and allow access.

Choose your Page
Under Choose the Page to connect, click Connect next to your Page.
You need an Instagram professional account (business or creator).

Connect Instagram
Go to Settings > Instagram and click Connect. Log in to the Instagram account you want to connect and allow access.

Check it
Send a DM to your account from another account. The AI replies, and the conversation appears in your inbox.
Good to know
- Reply within 24 hours. Messenger and Instagram only allow replies within 24 hours of the customer's last message. Answer DM tickets promptly.
- Escalations reach you through your usual notifications, and you reply from the inbox.
- Health: the channel's settings page shows when the last reply was sent. If replies start failing, the channel's tile in Settings shows Replies failing: click Reconnect.
- To stop, click Disconnect.
